Description of Services:

GuideToLenders.com ("GTL") is a website operated by QuinStreet, Inc. QPL uses GTL as the site of a virtual marketplace where interested consumers can be made aware of lenders and related third parties (e.g. debt settlement, credit repair) who are seeking the opportunity to do business with people like them.

QPL provides administrative and marketplace services by attempting to connect consumers with service providers. QPL provides these services via GTL. QPL presents estimated offers and rates based upon consumer-provided information. QPL does not make credit decisions. The information consumers provide QPL is generally not sufficient for service providers to make credit decisions. QPL provides information to certain third parties as set forth in GTL’s Privacy Notice. QPL is not an agent of either the consumer or any service provider.

QPL is not a loan provider. QPL does not take applications or make credit decisions; credit decisions and terms are determined by service providers following the consumer’s submission of an application directly to the service provider.

Consumer's approval for a loan and rates displayed is not guaranteed. The consumer’s actual credit terms depend on credit history, income, loan terms and other factors. QPL receives compensation directly from service providers, not from consumers.

Federal Disclosures

QPL will forward the information you provide to certain Lenders. These Lenders must make certain disclosures to you as required by the Federal Truth In Lending Act (TILA) and other applicable federal and state laws. These disclosures include details of your cost of credit and good faith estimates of your settlement costs. The Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, because all or part of the applicant's income derives from any public assistance program, or because the applicant has, in good faith, exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The Federal Trade Commission administers compliance with these laws and may be contacted at: The Federal Trade Commission, Equal Credit Opportunity, Washington, D.C. 20580. The foregoing requirements are mandatory for Lenders, however QPL makes no representations as to the adequacy or compliance on behalf of any Lender.

State Disclosures and License Information

Certain States may require QPL to obtain a license in order to provide these services within their state. Other States may not. Some States may require additional information disclosures be given to you in connection with the provision of these services. QPL reserves the right to refuse to accept or use the information you provide if such acceptance or use would constitute a violation of law or the terms and conditions of use for the GTL site www.guidetolenders.com.
